Sharks Club
Costa Mesa, Sharks Club, California,
some time in October, 1999

Napkin: 1
In Irvine, no
Actually Costa Mesa -
Feeling a little alienated
apparently, they have an all Asian
night here at Sharks.

Wow this poem is hands down the worst yet.

Asians are the most beautiful
do they like people that aren't?
What a dumb Ignorant poem this is.
Well this pretty much sucks.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Napkin 2: Great, I stumbled out of my booth, now I'm cursed with having some dumb ass minimum wage idiot bounce goon watching my actions. I guess these guys are so bored and lame that they have to rain a parade that some of these white guys have never had the chance to complete. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Napkin: 3 This pen sucks one of those skinny cheap blue pens that none of us has ever seen owning a cap! trash dry. You know the one that's just darker than baby blue paper mate shity pens that unfortunately saturate the entire undeserving world with their seventies style inadequacy which they inflict upon unsuspecting losers, like myself with = this longest sentence I'm done. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Napkin: 4 Darlene, Drinking Madori Daiquiris - Sure I know they think I'm drunk and insane I know they're 1/2 right on both accounts. So what - we all give up with women its mystery good relation between men and women is history DAMN - I cannot write a decent thing Not funny, not clever, not true - only truly bad. Ran out of napkins we may ask why I do this and write why I write bad bar poetry drunk - most likely it is because often the only object around to listen to me is a bar napkin guess we all need to talk or we all need something to listen - for sure at most we all need. Darlene disappears, meanwhile 3 Madori Daiquiris are at the table being enjoyed by her neglected other "girl's night out" comrades. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
