Last Post: You may or may not be aware of BDBP’s recent conversion and redevelopment. Why and What: Earlier this year BDBP changed hosts because our host for many years was sold to another company and turned to shit, quickly. This required a complete site transfer, databases transfer and lots of reprogramming. Then, around a month ago, BDBP’s main database reached the maximum capacity (per database) that our new host supports. To resolve this issue, and allow the site to keep growing, our development team, website architects, and senior managers, made the decision to split BDBP’s data and distribute it across several databases. Since this was to require extensive re-programming, it was decided that this would be a convenient time to also reorganize the website content: clear sections, better urls, canonical titles, etc. This has been an enormous undertaking. All of our developer teams have been working around the clock to complete the conversions and iron out the bugs. Latest

Last Post: Good News, Shoutables and ScrapePacks back online. ScrapePacks - created from the share tab of the scopinator. ScrapePacks are a great way to group photos together. You can then open up the pack in your scope bucket while posting, or in the scrapinator while scraping. Also, scrape packs show up on your profile so buddies and visitors can click on them to view photos and vote on them. You can manage the access level going to your profile and clicking the manage button right above your list of scrapepacks. Shoutables - created from the organize tab of the scopinator. With Shoutables, you post them into the shout box and then people can add comments in real time - that scroll. Also, shoutables can be clicked for a full size view.
